New Game Mod for TF2!!! - A3

A3 Gaming is venturing into some new and exciting territory with Team fortress 2. One of our members is working very hard on a leveling mod (similar to GunGame for Counter Strike Source), and we have a server for beta testing. The server is public for anyone to join and try it out. Make sure to come back here and give your feedback with suggestions and bug reports.

hi

I occasionally visit this server with some of my friends, our community finds it fun and we've been following it closely (with the though of maybe hosting a 12 man of it ourselves)

Well what must be two weeks ago now, we were on it on tr_aim_op or whatever the map name is and it changed to gg_shotty which is the map it has been on ever since.

Not a one of us has been able to connect, or download the map, and we have tried getting multiple gg_shotty maps from the web to try and get it but we get nothing. (its taken me this long to report this since i couldnt get in the server, and therefore couldnt remember what group hosted it, many a google search later, here i am)

So yea, can you reset it or change the map so it doesnt happen again? Or better yet, who do i talk to about getting the sourcemod plugin for it?

Edit: for reference the error is

"couldnt CRC map maps/gg_shotty.bsp, disconnecting"

This error was likely due to our recent name change (deathelitesquad->a3 gaming). I've fixed the fast download url, hopefully that will solve the error. Thanks for letting me know.

You can add me to steam (bigstan312) .

The plugin still haves a few bugs which is why I haven't released it yet. Since you ask, I'll post the latest stable version for download here. If you decide to try it out, please let me know with as much detail as possible about any bugs you encounter. (post the cfg file, and any error log files, if any). Also indicate what other plugins are running on your server.

I have hosted servers for many years starting off with CS 1.1, I have also hosted gun game servers for CSS. I am currently testing out the plugin you have for TF2 and noticed 1 small issue, when I was playing against someone else it appeared they were not animated but still moving around. Any idea on this?

IP for my server is 70.62.14.134:27015, I have access to business broadband speeds [3mb up 15mb down] so I could really host as many servers as needed. Currently I have 5 of these connections at my house so if it becomes popular I can put up more servers!

About the not animated issue: sometimes players do not switch to a remaining weapon after the first weapon is removed, and that causes the lack of animation. It's already been fixed, it won't do this as of version 0.968 (coming soon)
